Shepherd’s House located in Kentucky is a structured drug and alcohol treatment program for chemically dependent men. Addiction is a cruel lifelong illness and gaining the ability to attain long-term abstinence requires good treatment, change, hard work and healthy positive support.
Shepherd’s House is a residential transitional treatment program and male residents eighteen and above agree to a recovery stay of a year to 18 months. At Shepherd’s House, men addicted to mind altering substances are committed to their recovery and work hard to achieve their goals.
Residents at Shepherd’s House receive treatment from highly qualified professionals, engage in AA or NA twelve step programs, gain employment and pay rent. During their treatment stay recovering men are able to change, take responsibility, learn how to cope with life’s stresses and lead a healthy lifestyle effectively managing their daily sobriety.
