2011A Review of Johnson Memorial Hospital-Mental Health Outpatient in Connecticut
Johnson Memorial Medical Center has a Chemical Dependency Program (CDP) that’s part of their psychiatric services offered. Their outpatient program is designed to help individuals that are dependent on substances and for the ones that have co-occurring disorders too.
Many patients complete acute detox care at Johnson Memorial Hospital, receive their treatment at CDP during their early recovery and then go through Johnson Memorial Center’s outpatient services. Education and support for individuals in early recovery are the main focus of the chemical dependency program staff. These groups listed above are led by their licensed professionals that are experienced and trained in the area of treatment for substance abuse. Their program also provides psychiatric consults.
Inpatient Behavioral Health
Johnson Memorial Medical Center in Connecticut provides acute inpatient treatment for many behavioral health issues. The inpatient treatment is provided at South II which is a secure unit within the hospital. South II provides the following for adults:
